The sum of Your word is truth, and every one of Your righteous ordinances is everlasting.

We will learn God's truth by studying His Word. Why is this so crucial? Because it is when we are believing the deception of Satan that we will be thinking ungodly thoughts, experiencing painful emotions, and exhibiting sinful behavior. Satan has woven his lies throughout our world with such subtleness and expertise that often we don’t even realize that we are believing his lies. Yet God commands us to “see to it” that we do not fall into his traps or believe his deception.
See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.
Colossians 2:8
How can we know what is deception and what is truth? By renewing our mind by immersing ourselves in God’s Word. Reading the Bible will expose Satan’s lies and fill us up with God’s truth.
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Romans 12:2
